Edutainment: Computer Games in School

BBC News is reporting on a new scheme where students will play games in class.

Four schools in Europe (three in the UK and one in Germany) are teaming up with EA Games and Futurelab in Bristol to see just how much you can learn from a game.

This isn’t the first time games have been seen in school (dull Spanish games, anyone?), but these kind of games are going to be much more like the ones you play at home, such as The Sims and other kind of strategy and management games.
