3. Total internal reflection is very useful for transmitting information.

In what medium might T.I.R. be used for this?

whats the answer?
because theres probably a way to view the answers but i don't know how
any help would be appreciated.

I did this last year in my GCSE Physics so I am a bit hazy on the subject also i am not sure what you are trying to ask. However, this is what i do know if it is any help. Optical fibres are used to transmit data because they have total internal relflection. Total internal reflection happens when the angle of incidense equals the angle of reflection. (if you type into google images total internal reflection hopefully you will get a picture that has line showing the light movement within a tube and it will be clearer.) Also this probally isnt important but you can send more than one picece of digital information down an optical fibre.

Hope it helps or at least you get the answer you want soon
Good Luck!
